Agribusiness stakeholders are evolving beyond an e-information focus and toward the design and implementation of sophisticated e-commerce and customer relationship management (CRM) strategies. Ipsos Reid created the E-Business for Agriculture research program (annual) in response to the demand for a knowledge base upon which to build a successful electronic business. A series of focus groups as well as three waves of quantitative research are included in the research program; each component designed to add depth to our clients' understanding of Canadian farmers' Internet usage and attitudes.
Ipsos is offering agricultural industry stakeholders its proprietary Producers’ Perspectives – The Ipsos Canadian AgriForum – an online research tool that combines a web-based, pre-screened, staged agricultural producer panel with an interactive software application.
This research tool is ideally suited to the Canadian agricultural industry. Canadian producers are interested in having their opinions heard, but the growing demands of running a successful agribusiness put serious constraints on their time.
